Take the Rochester Exit, after a 3+ hour journey and what is the first thought that comes to mind? Where can I go to eat?
The answer is obviously ROC Cafe, and that probably isn’t just because it is the very first sign you see. Ok, maybe it is, but we have no regrets.
ROC Cafe is so much more than coffee, although we wont deny the “free coffee with any wrap” promotion is a great selling point. J and I once again, without planning it, both got the same meal- Southwestern Wrap on a spinach tortilla. He is very original. Our coffee came in real mugs! Another selling point, at least in the eyes of a self proclaimed coffee snob and his sustainability “plastic cups make the coffee taste like plastic” girlfriend. We support glass mug use.
The cafe has a seated area with tables and chairs, then seamlessly transitions into a lounge area. We sat on the couch to wait for our names to be called, planning to move to a table. To our surprise, our wraps were brought out to us!
The food was great. The price was better. And we had a great time relaxing before getting back in the car en route to our destination.
